About Me & Disclaimer

5meanders is a collective search to be better, and that search never ends. When I started writing, it was something of a mental exercise. Over time, that has evolved into a consistent search to grow, learn and evolve.

The river that meanders seeks to connect with the sea, just as I wish to continue to connect with an endless ocean of ideas and knowledge that I know is out there.

I talk about things that affect me, seek good food and share knowledge constantly.

    Hi Kenneth!

This is Hwee from Glints Career Hacking Community on Facebook. Just dropping by to check out your articles and this blog in general! πŸ™‚

Taking this opportunity to thank you for sharing all your valuable articles on our platform. πŸ™‚ There aren’t many personal blogs out there and in Singapore that dedicates a big portion to career tips and advice as it’s not an easy topic to talk about. Yet, the career-related articles you give are not just useful, but unconventionally inspiring!

    Keep on rocking! πŸ˜€
(and looking forward to more shares on our platform as well :b)

    • Hi Hwee!
Thank you for the message! I’m happy to provide all this as a resource, as it might help others shorten their learning curve or take a leap if needed. I believe that a lot of the career advice out there is based on what society, or the government, or our parents tell us. But a lot of these people either don’t have a stake in our lives, or won’t be with us to the end of our lives. To put it bluntly, our parents will die before us, and society doesn’t truly care about our career paths.

Therefore, we can’t let others determine our paths, and I’m trying to encourage people to forge their own career paths, and ask “why am I doing it” instead of “Should I do X or Y?”

I’ll definitely share more as I go along! πŸ™‚
